Heather’s true passion is giving her time and resources to volunteering in her local community by focusing on the needs of both organizations as well as individuals. She makes her mark by asking people what they need and brainstorming innovative ways to help them with necessities. She has been referred to by many as a “community bridge-builder” who acts as a liaison uniting organizations as well as community members. Heather shares, “It is not about what I do, it is about me effectively communicating the needs of organizations, getting others to rally to meet the needs of the public, and working to love humanity.” Heather has worked with the Salvation Army, Hope Center, Times Center, C-U@Home, and continues to work with Merci Refuge.
